BOARD MEMBER CALL OUT
If you are passionate about supporting the growth of arts and community in the Illawarra and would like to contribute your skills to an artist led organisation, we would love to hear from you.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following Board position:
Treasurer
Someone with experience or interest in financial management, accounting, governance or not-for-profit operations to help support the sustainability and future growth of the company.
Expressions of Interest close midnight, Monday 20 July 2026.

Commitment and Conditions:
Our board is a voluntary position
The treasurer supports the financial oversight and sustainability of AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre, helping ensure strong governance and responsible financial management across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the collection and management of organisational income and payments
Ensuring accurate financial records, books and accounts are maintained
Supporting compliant financial procedures in line with regulatory requirements
Reviewing financial reports and providing summaries to the Board for approval at meetings
Supporting the Artistic Director and Board with financial advice and planning as required
Assisting in the development and review of financial policies and procedures
Reviewing and approving annual audit processes prepared by the appointed auditor
Working collaboratively with the Board to meet governance and compliance obligations
Supporting organisational budgeting and financial planning in alignment with funding and stakeholder requirements
We are looking for someone with:
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance or auditing
A passion in arts, culture and community development
Understanding of, or willingness to learn about not-for-profit governance
Strong communication and collaborative skills
A desire to support the future growth and sustainability of AUSTI.
